该游戏在steam的 12323 篇评测中有 84% 为好评。 《机甲战士5》的游戏背景设定在3015年，这是一个机甲主宰战场的未来世界，城市战将充斥着这种杀戮机器的影子。《机甲战士5》是一款完整而且是买断制的游戏，由Piranha Games一支专门的制作组开发，不会与《机甲战士OL》有任何交集。本作不会包含任何内购元素。而且游戏也是一款专注于单人模式体验的作品。
中文设置
进入游戏后点击MODS-勾选Chinese-APPLY保存
然后OPTIONS-GAMEPLAY-LANGUAGE SELECTION-CHINESE-APPLY【保存后重启下游戏不然乱码】
卸载教程：
1.将Content中的旧版本Localization文件删掉
2.在Mods文件中删除ChineseLocalization，或在Mod管理器中禁用
3.在设置中将语言调回英文
然后OPTIONS-GAMEPLAY-LANGUAGE SELECTION-CHINESE-APPLY【保存后重启下游戏不然乱码】
